The Tax Office is responsible for listing, appraising and assessing all real and personal property located in Burke County. This office is also responsible to collect taxes for Burke County, Town of Glen Alpine and the Town of Rhodhiss.
Our offices are located at 110 North Green Street, Morganton NC in the Burke County Services Building. Tax office hours are 8:00am until 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Revaluation Notices
2013 Revaluation Notices were mailed February 28th. Taxpayers have until May 30, 2013 to appeal to the Board of Equalization and Review.
