The Tax Office is responsible for listing, appraising and assessing all real and personal property located in Burke County. This office is also responsible to collect taxes for Burke County, Town of Glen Alpine and the Town of Rhodhiss.
Our offices are located at 110 North Green Street, Morganton NC in the Burke County Services Building. Tax office hours are 8:00am until 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Tax Collections Deadline
To avoid interest, please pay your 2011 tax bills no later than January 5, 2012.
Tax Relief Programs

Tax Listing Forms
2012 Personal Property and Business Personal Property forms will be mailed on December 30th. These forms will be available online by the second week in January, 2012.
